These two models were some of the first cell phones to have this type of communication implemented and then when the user base grew the company realized that there was value in releasing this component with all their products.

Mobile phones over the years have always had technological advances, almost every year something revoltionary is created. This might include the touch screen or ability to go on the Internet from your cell phone. Enabling hands free with all packages to me really is just a natural step in the evolution of this range of products.

Samsung and Nokia

Nokia and Samsung also release this hands free component with all their mobile phones. It only costs them an extra dollar to do this whilst at the same time providing great value to the consumer. Some people might not even think that they need such a feature but when they get it for free they will try it out. Then after using it for a while it will completely change their habits of communicating with friends, family and anybody else they need to have a phone conversation with.

My only concern about this is that some people look like they are crazy and talking to themselves because you do not see an arm raised to the ear or earphones.
